INTRO

This will be our 3rd national get together. Expect the usual family friendly fun and games, open space, workshops and time to catch up with friends old and new.  We also hope to have the chance to think about how Transition is working in Scotland generally, and what is the best way forward in the following year.

There will be a ceilidh in the evening, which will also be welcoming people coming to the Transitions: Diverse Routes to Belonging conference the following day (book for this here: http://transitionsdiverseroutes.eventbrite.com).

BOOKING AND VENUE INFORMATION

Please book your place by registering for a ticket on this page. There is no charge to attend this event, but we do need to know you are coming and for you to answer a few questions for us.

Accessibility

The venue is fully accessible. 

Children and young people

We have some places for children (0-16 year olds) who are attending with a parent or guardian. Please make sure that you book places for your children.

There will be separate children’s [5-11 year olds] and young people’s [12-16 year olds] activities during the day, so please let us know ages when booking, and whether your children want to join in with these scheduled activities.

If your child is attending with you and either younger than 5 or doesn't wish to join in the activities, please be aware that you still need to book. Sadly we cannot afford to provide creche facilities, so you will need to keep your child with you at all times and be responsible for their welfare.

Note

If you think your 5-11 year old child would be happier in the older or younger group even if they don't fall in that age bracket, please let us know in the booking form.

Accommodation

If you are staying for the Transitions: Diverse Routes to Belonging conference which follows on from the Annual Gathering (please see booking and event information for this here http://transitionsdiverseroutes.eventbrite.com), you will be able to book a room on site for Friday and Saturday nights.  If you're only coming for the Scottish Gathering on Friday, but need to stay over in Edinburgh either on Thursday or Friday, please contact transitionconference@googlemail.com and we will do our best to connect you with local Transitioners you can stay with. 

Food 

Lunch and dinner will be provided. There will also be tea & coffee breaks.

Children under 5 - The venue does not have any provision for baby foods, so please bring what you need.
